This place is a gem!! I ordered takeout a few weeks ago and I was blown away by the food - we got pork siomai, chicken adobo and crispy kare kare. I was literally jumping for joy when I found out their kare kare is nut-free. My boyfriend has a severe nut allergy, so I was excited to finally share my favourite dish with him. The owners were so nice and I can't wait to return the next time I visit Waterloo!

The Sinigang was spot on—tamarind broth was just the right level of sourness, and the lechon stayed crispy even in the soup. The Kare Kare was also great, with a thick, flavorful peanut sauce that wasn’t too heavy, and the lechon added a nice crunch. The Chicken Adobo was classic and well-balanced. What I appreciated most was how the dishes weren’t overly oily, which is a common issue with some places. You can tell they put care into preparing the food properly. Definitely a place worth visiting if you’re craving Filipino dishes done right!

If you're craving fantastic Filipino food, look no further than Rosel's Aunthentic Filipino food! Their Crispy kawali is legendary – perfectly deep-fried to achieve that crackling skin while keeping the meat incredibly tender and flavorful inside. It's truly a showstopper! We also tried their Halo-Halo for dessert, and it was the perfect refreshing and sweet end to our meal, loaded with all the right mix-ins. The service was friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere was lively and inviting. It's clear that a lot of care goes into every dish, and the quality shines through. Highly recommend for anyone looking to dive into the delicious world of Filipino cuisine.

WOW! Amazing staffs, very friendly. We’re just visiting from Scarborough and we felt very welcomed, they even gave us a complimentary appetizer. Their excellent food is just a bonus! I just wish they can open up a branch in Scarborough.

Nothing like being welcomed to someone’s kitchen to enjoy a home cooked meal. That is what it felt like at Rosel’s! You are treated to tasty food, great conversation, and home made pineapple sofa - and get to watch her cook while you wait. Tasting each dish to be sure it’s just the way she wants you to taste it. This is a must-try if you’re in Waterloo. I even tried to convince them to move their kitchen to Markham so I can be a regular but they like it in Waterloo Thank you Rosel’s and I will be back anytime I’m in town!

Ordered takeout from this place today after getting a recommendation from a friend and it was a super easy order online process. When we went in to pay and pickup our food we were greeted by the most lovely lady who was just the sweetest. When we got home and took out our food it was genuinely some of the best looking takeout I’ve ever seen visually and held up on the flavour front as well. I’ve never had Filipino food before but wow have I been missing out! While all the dishes were great special shout-out to the Pork dumplings and the most amazing homemade chilli oil I’ve ever had. Seriously a great experience will probably be back this week.

It's first time order and it's so tasty. I definitely try again. Pork belly is so crispy out side and juicy inside. Chickens are also very soft and delicious.
